I’m a passionate licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience empowering clients to discover their strengths, purpose, and passions in life. Using a trauma-informed and client-centered approach, through a social-justice lens, I incorporate techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Mindfulness-Based Sobriety (MBS), Motivational Interviewing, and Self-Compassion.

 

Throughout my exciting career, I've held diverse clinical roles, including individual and group psychotherapist, as well as clinical supervisor. Most recently, I was a psychotherapist at the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, where I gained valuable experience working alongside healthcare professionals.

 

I’m also certified in the advanced treatment of substance use disorders (CASAC2) and actively volunteer with Physicians for Human Rights, conducting psychological assessments for asylum seekers.
